Utkal Seva Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and social well-being of underprivileged, helpless, destitute, and marginalized communities.

Founded with a vision of compassion, the organization relentlessly works to provide healthcare, education, and social welfare initiatives. Our core mission is to ensure that no individual in rural and backward areas remains unsupported due to a lack of resources or guidance.

To provide accessible and free social welfare services in rural areas, with a special focus on empowerment programs, healthcare assistance, and supporting the basic needs of underprivileged families.

Rules and Regulations

Rules and Regulations :

1. Membership & Eligibility Eligibility Criteria : Define a minimum age (e.g. 18+) and a requirement for a "service-oriented mindset.
# Enrollment Fee : Set a clear one-time registration fee and a recurring monthly/yearly subscription fee to fund activities.
# Documentation : Every member must provide valid ID proof (like Aadhaar) and fill out a formal membership form

2. Code of Conduct Discipline: Members must align with the group's vision and refrain from using the group’s platform for personal gain.
# Non-Political Stance : Ensure the group remains neutral. No political campaigning or religious proselytizing should be allowed under the group's name.
# Conflict Resolution: Any internal disputes should be handled privately through a designated committee rather than public arguments.

3. Meetings & Participation Attendance : Regular attendance at monthly or bi-weekly meetings should be mandatory. Define a limit (e.g., three consecutive absences without notice leads to membership review).
# Punctuality : Members must respect the time of others to ensure meetings are productive.
# Active Involvement : Membership shouldn't be "on paper" only; every member should contribute to at least one project per year.

4. Safety and Zero Tolerance Policy Anti-Harassment : There is a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, inappropriate remarks, or unwelcome behavior toward female members. Any violation will result in immediate termination of membership.
# Grievance Redressal : An Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), including senior female members, will be established to address any safety concerns or complaints confidentially.

5. Communication and Privacy Direct Messaging (DM) Protocol : Male members are strictly prohibited from sending private or non-work-related messages/calls to female members, especially during late hours (e.g., after 9:00 PM).
# Data Protection : No member shall share the phone numbers, home addresses, or personal photos of female colleagues with third parties or on social media without explicit written consent.

6. Field Work and Travel Safety The Buddy System : No female member should be assigned to field duties or remote locations alone. They must always be accompanied by another female member or a verified group leader.
# Safe Timings : All field activities and meetings must be scheduled to conclude early enough so that female members can return home safely before dark.

7. Professional Environment Decorum : All members must maintain professional language and decorum during meetings. Any use of offensive or sexist language is strictly prohibited.
# Safe Spaces : Meetings should be held in public or professional venues. Avoid holding mixed-gender meetings in private residences unless it is a large official gathering.

8. Termination of Membership Membership can be revoked if a member : Engages in illegal activities or financial fraud. Violates the group's code of ethics or misuses the group’s name for unauthorized activities. Fails to pay the membership subscription for a specified period (e.g., 6 months).

9. Code of Conduct Agreement Mandatory Sign-off : Every male member joining the group must sign a "Code of Conduct" pledge, specifically committing to uphold the dignity and safety of female colleagues.

10. Resignation from Membership Formal Resignation: If a member wishes to leave the organization, they must provide a written notice at least 15 to 30 days in advance. This allows the group to process the exit and find a replacement if necessary.
# Handover of Responsibilities : Before leaving, the member is strictly required to return all organizational assets, including documents, files, ID cards, funds, or any equipment held by them.
